Google +

Hey Guys

Google have recently announced ane opened ‘Google +’, a social networking service by google themselves to compete against popular social networking sites like Facebook and twitter.

At the moment the service isn’t open to everyone, only a lucky few are beta testing it, and google claims it will be ‘Rough around the edges at first’ but will improve.

Google + uses Google chat, so it has a clear advantage over Facebook chat already. Google Talk is availible to everyone, but when Google + is releases to the majority of people, you will be able to use it through Google + too. Facebook saw this and knew their chat needed to be updated, but in my opinion they just made it worst.

Circles

Circles

You share different things with different people. But sharing the right stuff with the right people shouldn’t be a hassle. Circles makes it easy to put your friends from Saturday night in one circle, your parents in another, and your boss in a circle by himself, just like real life

Circles are like a replacement of ‘Lists’ in facebook, but a lot more organised and simply easy to use.

Sparks

Remember when your Grandpa used to cut articles out of the paper and send them to you? That was nice. That’s kind of what Sparks does: looks for videos and articles it thinks you’ll like, so when you’re free, there’s always something to watch, read, and share. Grandpa would approve.

Watch video

Sparks looks around and posts what you are interested in and posts it to your wall so you always have something to do on there.
At the moment, google plus does not feature games and apps like FaceBook does (Games and apps are stuff like Farmville, CityVille, ect) But they may appear soon, GToogle Plus is only in beta at the moment!
Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed it and when you can, go sign up for google plus!
